Child's Halloween Costume?

I would like to dress my son up as Micheal Jackson this halloween to pay tribute to the artist. He is by far my favorite musician and I am saddened deeply by his ping. I think it would be a nice thing to do but what do you think others will think of this? I was also thinking about printing something on a t-shirt for myself to make a statement so that people knew we were honoring him and not mocking him. What are your thoughts? And in the nicest way possible I ask, if you are going to make any rude comments please don't waste either of our time.
