Now that the MSN IM connects to other IMs like Yahoo, how do I block those users from seeing me?

Sometimes I'm not up for chatting with everyone and anyone, but now it seems they can see me on their Yahoo IM when I login to the MSN... but I don't want them to always see me. This is rather annoying.
