Do u think this cat is coming around for a reason?

of course being who i am i believe everything is here for a reason. well ive always wanted a black cat with white paws. ive begged my mom for one because its been my life long dream to have one. a couple of nights ago i was reminding my mom how bad i wanted one...then the next day this cat started showing up at our house. he looked exactly how i dreamed of my dream cat. i snuck out of the house to see if he would get scared of me and see if i could pet him even though my mom tells me not to do that with strays because theyll stay around. well anyways i went out to pet him and he acted like i was a life long friend. he hugged me and purred. i fed him a little food and he was still purring. do you think that he was supposed to be here with me (lol) sounds a little weird but im curious to see what everyone will say.
