Crocheting a baby blanket and I want to use the brand "I love this yarn" brand. It is worsted weight.?

Ok I decided to try out crocheting a baby blanket. So I went and bought this yarn name brand called "I love this yarn" I believe it is worsted wieght yarn. Is it still ok to do the baby blanket with this yarn? I just don't know if I should go ahead and continue or stop everything and take the yarn back and look again for the right yarn?
