Does anyone know about the Asus EeePC 2G?

I have a 13 year old daughter who would absolutely love a laptop for Christmas. I can not, however, afford a bran new laptop such as a Dell or comparison. While researching I found one priced within my price range of $200 - $250. My biggest problem with the decision is that for her birthday I was able to get her a digital camera. Of course, the camera requires Window's XP and I still run ME. I plan on purchasing the XP edition for the laptop as it runs off linux (which is not a supporting software of the camera). My question is does the EeePC have a disc insert? I haven't been able to see any evidence from pictures I've seen on the web. Thank you
