Small tattoo question?

I've never gotten a tattoo but I'm planning on getting something similar to what you've described and this is what my future tattoo artists has told me: First of all, you should probably make it bigger. Type tattoos that small will likely fade and blur together in a couple years. Second, tattoos on the ribcage are the absolute worst place. However, he also said women appear to deal much better with tattoo pain. Especially in that area for some reason. I'm not sure about healing time and such.
