Was the Renaissance more influential then the Enlightenment?

i think the renaissance was more influential because there were many advancements in many areas, not only art but math and science as well, there are far more examples of advancements made during the renaissance; just look at the changes in architecture and art! the enlightenment was more of an idealistic change and the changes in religion. The renaissance has had more of an impact on todays society than the enlightenment
